Definately one of the most rewarding experiences making my own instrument. For three months I moved down to Totnes in Devon and had a truly beautiful time. I met many lovely people, went to open jam sessions and by the end of my three month course at the fantastic Norman Reed's Guitar Making School, not only did I have a hand made twelve string guitar but it was also gearing up for spring and this buzzy little town came to life in a most magical fashion.
